All about New Year!

Assigning duties to all, the master, Time
Holding our hands with consoling concern
Had, in the past journeyed with us,
By crossing the fields of farming and meadows
Mantled with bushes, grasses and trees
Clad in dazzling lush green.

Sliding while through hill pastures
And crying over the scarlet of river water
Which once was plain as glassy prisms
And occurred that now on greed of man,
Led us, Master with blemish naught
 To life, eye-blinking charming bright.

In all these actions, the Nature’s accord
With Beings all types- sizes and ages,
Discard one cannot all this truth,
Help us have the  feeling  of triumph
And we don’t know further where
The screen is to showcase our life's episodes.

The future impending and  fast reaching
Has been set right already for display
As the Master is taking off His torn garments
That were worn hopefully in seventeen
To put on stylishly his new costume
Designed for celebrating two thousand eighteen.

He will garland us with blooms of new year
With warmth in heart and smirk on lips
And it is us to celebrate its birth cheerily
And make preparations apposite for its delight;
And dream let us for a life full of feel and zeal
And march merrily to the imminent  eighteen.

May you all have a merry festival and an amusing Two o eighteen.! God bless all.

Poets united.
