Routine!

At dawn in my bed I am alert,

Speedily leap to the floor, my feet.

In the washbasin for tooth-bathing

Briskly, I walk to the brush holder.

The tap smiles when I fight with lather,

Washes it in haste, well the water.

The teeth are ready for a sweet smile,

Though my dawn duty allows them not.

The kitchen wails hard if I am late,

I am in prayer; I ask him to wait.

Seeing my legs near, he rejoices,

The gas stove receives me readily.

I reach her with a potent lighter.

Lovingly, Lighter hugs and strokes her.

Solacing the ones there, when in cold,

The diet she cooks and keeps on hold.

The food-smell invites inmates;

Lavishly, I serve sumptuous food.

Expressing no sign to me, for thanks,

Eaters save in their hearts much delight.

The workplace well, awaits the employees

To resume yesterday-planned-works.

My mind flies to the office far off,

carries the physique not fat, fast.

Events are recurrent every day,

Seldom leisure for the poor kitchen.

Holidays ah! Are rare to be done,

All these things have become my routine.
