Butterfly, o, dear, do you have a mom
that gives you, diets always piquant?
O, Parrot dear, do you have a caring pop;
who brings you always lovely toys?
O, my darling puppy, a beloved-fervent
brother, did you ever wish you had?
I had a fond dad, who acted as an elephant and
as the mahout, I rode on him relishing rides.
Appreciated mama mine, sincerely the scene,
applauded and approved, gleefully the game.
Joined us my little brother, Munnu
and as another mahout, he clouted dad.
But now alone I am; alas! No dad and Mom
and no loving brother to have any games.
The hard God made me sad, solitude attacks me,
and replace I can none in place of all my kin.
Fills in my eyes rain, well their memories,
when in my dreams visit, my mama and papa.
What, for them, can I do, only a boy of nine?
Sitting here alone, I can only sigh with sorrow?
Ran a truck of size very huge, over our car;
rapid was God to take my loved ones away.
God likes me not, so He didn’t include me
but flung me to the widespread ground lied far.
I wish I be with them, I don’t know how to go,
obliged ever I shall be if anyone of you helps me.
My affectionate grandma is kind and gentle and
Why I laugh and play, you know, my friends?
Even I am going to school, showing not any hassle
and do my lessons fairly well, however no crankiness.
I want my old grandma to be happy much,
for, none is there to be with me,
but my dear granny.
Very touching poem of a nine year old.
