Infant in squashy sand
Roll and bathe. Fall a stick soft
On thigh from mother’s hand.
Little grains of sand host
The mighty ocean. Little particles form
From rock when crushed hard.
Beginning in sand and
Cement and ending in sand and wood.
Remembers it, none.
Without basic entity sand
No earth, no life and no world.
What in universe, then?
Sand is the band that
Binds beings together. Without
Sand where will you stand?
You boast of power, riches.
They help you not, when sand calls
You to sleep in lap.
sarala.
Star dust all.
ReplyDeleteSand is so beautiful. When magnified at 250x, individual grains of sand look like gemstones.
