Autumn Frost!

Musical drizzle
Dear kid snug in bed, mother
Hugs; autumn frost melts.

Shower sings ditty,
Autumn frost twist; little men
Lie under blanket.

Early frosts chill
Earth, Sun winks and cuddles her.
She turns shy and red.

Dawn-shower, chill,
Sunflower poor pules; father
Sun cuddles him tight.

Autumn frost smothers
Creatures; saviour sun rescues.
Beings sigh relieved.

  4. Loved the imagery your words evoked. I could feel the chill of the Autumn frost, see it painted on the window panes in my mind. Brilliant.
