Haiku for Carpe Diem

http://chevrefeuillescarpediem.blogspot.in/

Light a Candle!

Though may have size small,
A candle propels deep dark
And wipes gloom for glee.

 Wicks smile, mighty dark
 Flees beyond walls and hides.
 Brightness glow for all.

The candle of love
Divinely clasps the gloomy.
Breeze of bliss blows.

Seedless Bloom!

Seedless bloom envies
Seedy flowers  sneeringly.
Seeds stand very proud.

Seed, the son of bloom
Absorbs mother’s radiance
Poor one fades and fall.

Spring springs up; bloom and
Awake, plants in high gusto.
In cute hues nature.

These haiku are in response to two prompts linked together'Use that Quote' and 'Spring'. I don't know whether the theme is high lighted or not.

    2. You don''t need to be a Buddhist to feel his strong spiritual power ... I am not a Buddhist, but I know he and several other saints have influenced my life.

    1. Yes Anil, somehow I have some fascination for that. Always a cool serenity we can observe on His face.

  5. Thank you for your visit. Seeds can be light, when they find the right combination of elements and bloom making us smile.

  8. a single candle and a single seed both seem insignificant yet they have the potential to light lives and nurture a tree that act as lifelines... Wonderful thoughts Sarala :)
