Poet-stars!
Covid makes a void in poesy-paths,
Bid adieu, many dear poet-stars.
In agony, Kairali* cries and sobs.
Homage, pay fans heavy their hearts.
Kairali*-
Malayalam Language.
Mother!
Join hands, the divine word, Mom
And the concept of writing poems.
Spring up insights in writers of words,
Bring they, a newness to their ideas.
Father!
To
spread around, the glow of bright.
His
selfless self, well he ignores
And
pampers he, his lovely infants.
Dosser!
He, who strolled with a sword in hand,
Has become a dosser, refuge none.
Nobody minds him uttering a word.
He must sleep in the street alone.

ReplyDeleteI like your verse on Father very much. Fathers are very often forgotten even though they are the foundations of the family. They stand there so quietly in the corner giving us security and the financial support that we many times take for granted
